Nick Strickland is very involved on a daily basis on every house. He keeps tight control of each project on every level. This includes quality, craftsmanship, budgeting, materials, scheduling, and site management. Each project is kept on track and organized. Nick understands that cost control in subs and materials is crucial. He knows his financial responsibility to always work and make decisions on behalf of his client.

Nick Strickland specializes in building and construction techniques that make projects more energy efficient. Nick Strickland Custom Homes is an Energy Star Partner building high-energy efficient homes that reduce electric & water usage. He will educate clients on energy efficiency so they can make informed decisions. Nick will guide clients on addressing green and sustainable building methods, techniques, and materials. Nick earned the EPA Certification RRP, as a Lead-Safe Certified renovator. Under the new EPA rule, beginning April 2010, contractors performing renovations on homes built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

History

Prior to forming his own company, Nick was associated with Encore Homes for over 14 years as officer and VP of construction, where Nick oversaw the construction and building of some of the homes featured in this website.

Nick Strickland has been married to his wife Linda for over 30 years, and they have 2 grown children.
